Synopsis : An incident occurred in life that one had never thought of and led to a surprise that would spur me to

make a film about it. In the deep forests of Karnataka lies a secret, a tribe that has slipped through the

shadows for many centuries hiding its existence.

'Raanachi Pakhara' is a film that tries to give a voice to a tribe, which had gone into hiding many

centuries back. What makes this tribe different? Is it only their unique African features or are there

other hidden aspects; something more to it?

The whole process of filming this tribe was an eventful process and editing the never ending footage

was another task in itself. Eight months of efforts have been made into a half an hour long film.

This film is an effort to showcase an instance of the extraordinary culture of Indian tribes.
